Dr. Reinoso is a licensed psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of developmental disorders such as ADHD, Learning Disorders, Dyslexia, Autism, and Asperger's Disorder. He is a Cogmed Qualified Specialist. Dr. Reinoso treats patients from early childhood through young adulthood. He founded the clinic in 1996. Dr. Reinoso is also the author of Little Ducky Jr. and the Whirlwind Storm© an inspirational tale for children surviving catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina.
Dr. Mora is a licensed psychologist with experience addressing the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of both typically developing and developmentally disabled children and adolescents. In particular, Dr. Annie specializes in the assessment and treatment of common childhood disorders such as ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, and Learning Disabilities. She works closely with the Archdiocese of New Orleans and local schools training parents, counselors and administrators on tactics for minimizing the effects of bullying. She has also served on the Archdiocese’s Anti-Bullying Committee and the Safe Environments Committee.
Gina is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and National Board Certified Counselor who specializes in child and adolescent behavioral health. She has worked in the school setting for many years and continues to offer counseling services to children, adolescents and adults. Her primary focus is providing an atmosphere that promotes growth and change by depending upon qualities such as unconditional positive regard, genuineness and empathy. Her area of treatment expertise include anxiety,depression, ADHD, social, communication and problem solving skills, relationship issues and adjustment issues. Gina uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) while incorporating mindfulness techniques.
Marti is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her M.S.W. as well as a Certificate in Disaster Mental Health from the Tulane University School of Social Work in 2011. Since then, Marti has worked with children, families, and adults in a variety of different clinical settings such as nonprofit and group mental health practices, community health centers, and schools. Marti specializes in applying evidenced-based treatments, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, for treatment of a wide range of different conditions affecting youth and their families including anxiety, depression, ADHD,behavioral issues, and grief and trauma. Marti is also trained and certified in multiple CBT protocols including the Youth PTSD Treatment (YPT) and Preschool PTSD Treatment (PPT) protocols, and the Grief and Trauma Intervention for Children (GTI) as well as parenting models such as Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Marti uses a warm, collaborative approach toworking with children and families, building upon existing strengths and bolstering inner resiliency along with incorporating new therapeutic tools in order to assist clients in reaching their personal goals.
Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor with experience serving children, adolescents, and their families in clinical and school settings. She is a Registered Play Therapist™ who uses the therapeutic powers of play to address challenges with anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment, self-esteem, social-skills, and behavior. As a certified Parent Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT); Heather is passionate about helping parents create structure, facilitate growth, and build a positive relationship with their children. She sees children, young adults, and parents utilizing prescriptive techniques.
Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. Katie specializes in with working with children, adolescents, families using prescriptive techniques. Katie counsels children, adolescents, and families on many challenging behaviors including: defiant behavior, worry/anxiety, self-esteem, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, conflict resolution, friendship skills, adjustment challenges, social skills, and parenting. Katie works closely with children’s’ caregivers and teachers through consultation to best support the needs of children. Katie is a certified Parent Interaction Therapist (PCIT) working closely with parents to increase parenting skills and build a positive relationship with their children.
Jill is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults in the clinical and school setting. She has been working with adolescents for more than 30 years and is passionate about supporting young people, especially those experiencing challenges with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression.
Utilizing a strengths-based and individualized approach, she helps clients build resilience, improve communication skills, and develop executive functioning strategies to navigate academic, social, and personal challenges. She empowers young people to gain confidence, manage stress, and achieve their goals through compassionate and evidence-based Cognitive-Behavioral interventions.

Director, Speech & Learning Center
Stacey Stemke is an independent speech pathologist whose practice is housed in the BHHDC facility. She and her team serve as consultants to the BHHDC staff and provide speech and language therapy to children and adults.
